Segregating your financial services leads is actually a wise thing to do but it is often misunderstood by a lot of people (especially in industries like financial services). One common complaint is segregation based on labels like wealth. If you have had trouble acquiring sales leads in a bad economy, words like ‘wealth’ do not seem to sit well to the point that just using the term to organize prospects has stigmatized as a form of prejudice.

You will find many who say that its never good to limit your financial services lead generation strategy to only those that give your business easy sales. Opting for the easy way out has never been the most honorable option no matter what the era. On the other hand, there is a difference between planning a tactical retreat in your lead generation strategy and one that is simply cowardly.

Critics are often regarded as obstacles to many financial services lead generation campaigns. There is only so much mud you can allow to be thrown at your good name right? Besides, you cannot please everyone (at least not immediately). Everyone (businesses included) always has someone genuinely hating on them.
That does not mean you cannot use lead generation tools to finally make peace with them.

People who go against social norms both willingly and unwillingly are those who we label as deviants. Social norms are what we believe is acceptable behavior in a given context.
